Upper contact
Unconformity with PalkStrait Eocene Fm (limestone) in Palk Bay well where Paleocene seems absent.
Regional extent
Found only in PalkBay well of Palk Strait (between Sri Lanka and southern tip of India); but Pesalai Well is indicated as having Late Cretaceous (ca. 900 m); but no lithology or age information given.
